Description
Bamix of Switzerland was the original immersion blender. Inventor, Roger Perrinjaquet, invented the first immersion blender in 1950 and called it the "Bamix", a combination of "battre et mixer" meaning to beat and mix. Today, in a slightly modernized casing and equipped with additional tools, the bamix is the first hand-held immersion blender and, at the same time, the smallest food processor in the world with an impressively powerful motor.
