In 1993, Sunpentown International Inc. (SPT) established its US headquarters in Southern California and began providing their well trusted, quality products to the Asian-American community in North America. Back then, products offered were limited, induction cooktops, rice cookers, hot water pots and other miscellaneous cookers. SPT is now the leader and one of the largest producers of induction cooktops worldwide. Their commercial units can be found in many top restaurants, hotels and resorts. Having established a solid ground in the commercial induction market, SPT began to gear its attention to the mass American population. Besides further development in kitchen appliances, SPT began manufacturing products with customer's everyday comfort and ease in mind. Today, SPT has hundreds of products to offer, in a wide range of categories: air quality, refrigeration, lighting, sanitary, massage and power generators.
