Established in 1979 as an industrial diversification of the Ocean Insurance Group, Ocean Glass Public Company Ltd. has manufactured glassware of international standards since its inception. The company completed its glass manufacturing factory on an 84-acre of land at Bangpoo Industrial Estate. Manufacturing activities started in October 1982. The company provides an extensive range of quality glassware with an annual production capacity of 140 million pieces. Included in its product portfolio are crystalline stemware and barware as well as sodalime stemware, barware, storage, and serving items. USA distribution to the retail trade for the "Lucaris" and "Pure and Simple" brands of lead-free crystalline stemware and barware is done through Lancaster Commercial Products in Columbus, OH. Canada retail distribution is done through Cuisivin Oakville, Ontario. Mexico retail distribution for "Lucaris" and "Pure and Simple" is done through RYSI, Puebla, Pue.
