Oxford Porcelanas – Porcelain and Earthenware Based in Sao Bento do Sul, Santa Catarina Province, Brazil, Oxford Porcelanas is the largest producer of porcelain and ceramics in the Americas. Production started in 1953 and since 1976 have been exporting to 90 countries worldwide. We supply the Brazilian tableware market and currently export 12% of production. Oxford employs 1200 people and has an annual production of 48 million pieces. Main customers include: We manufacture four levels of products: Biona – a range of earthenware products Oxford porcelain – high quality white porcelain which is microwave* and dishwasher safe (*excluding metallic glazes) Oxford porcelain oven to tableware - refractory porcelain – withstands thermal extremes from freezer to oven at 280 degrees. Oxford Ultra Porcelain – high alumina white porcelain with an especially durable surface.
