Sobral Invicta S/A was founded on 1952 in São Paulo, by the current president of the Administration Board, João Fernando Sobral. The aim was to develop a pioneer, innovative and profitable organization. In the beginning, production was only composed by ¢ Liter bottles, while some important components, as glass flasks, tinplate cases and aluminum parts were purchased from third parties. But soon after the first year of operation, Invicta has set up its own glassworks for the production of flasks.In 2012, Invicta was acquired by the american company Jarden Corporation and since then Invicta has direct report to The Coleman Company.
