Bunn-O-Matic Corporation is a heritage brand built on a long tradition of quality that started well before the beverage equipment division was founded in the late 1950’s. The evolution at Bunn-O-Matic Corporation can trace its foundation to 175 years ago when Jacob Bunn opened his grocery store in a developing Springfield, IL USA, and a young Abe Lincoln was one of his first customers. That venture grew into Bunn Capitol Wholesale Grocery Company and was later managed by George R. Bunn who founded the beverage equipment division. Bunn-O-Matic Corporation was officially incorporated as a separate entity in 1963, and since that time has been at the forefront of dispensed beverage equipment manufacturers. Expertise in commercial coffee brewing equipment was leveraged for a home coffeemaker series in 1972. Now often referred to simply as “BUNN,” this company continues to innovate dispensed beverage equipment including home coffeemakers from its global headquarters in Springfield, Illinois
