ABCasa – The Brazilian Housewares and Home Decoration Association was founded in September 2016 with the objective of stimulating and representing the commercial interests of the market sector. Currently, over 400 companies from all over Brazil are association members. Amongst them are manufacturers, distributors and importers from the housewares and home decorations market sector, a sector which is in constant growth, having seen a 31% rise in online orders and a 23% increase in turnover between 2016 and 2017. ABCasa also organizes the ABCasa Fair, a trade fair for retailers and industry professionals only, where association members showcase their products, grow their client base, and close deals directly with their target audience. The first edition took place in August 2017, bringing together over 350 exhibitors, revealing the market sector’s latest trends and product launches to around 30 thousand visitors over 5 days. The sales success ensured that two annual editions would take place in São Paulo as of 2018. The second edition, in February 2018, hosted more than 400 exhibitors and offered visitors a variety of talks and workshops with renowned interior designers and industry experts. Already established as the largest fair of the housewares and home decoration sector in Latin America, in relation to the number of exhibitors, today the ABCasa Fair is the market sector’s principal meeting place and networking event, where the latest trends and opportunities await those that visit.
