KODAI is a Japanese company that makes wooden houseware and kitchenware products such as cutting boards, trays and bath mats. We specialize in cutting boards, we have a wide range of shapes, sizes and colors. We mainly use Japanese cypress which has a beautiful polish, healing smell and warm appearance. We have Co-C certification under FSC standards which promotes the appropriate use of environmentally friendly timber products because we care a lot about the environment. KODAI is a general manufacturer of wooden products for the home with an aim towards “ comfort and healing”. This year, we launched a new brand called “FIDO.” All of our FIDO products are made of Japanese cypress. However, for some of our products, we’ve developed a new eco-friendly material called Hinoki biomass plastic, which mixes Japanese cypress powder from woodchips and Polyolefin-based plastic. By using plant material, we are able to cut oil usage by 50%. Also, it has antibacterial property so it is very hygienic
