In 1994 Philippe Degroote, 3rd generation textile manufacturer, formed Tiseco Group; and, Tiseco Home Studio was born. A main stream Brand, moderately priced, with simple trend designs. As manufacturing in Belgium became uncompetitive, in 1996 Philippe closed his factory and moved all his machinery to China. Soon after factory Hubs were opened in India, Pakistan and Portugal. Where he controlled everything from the quality of the yarn to the inspection of finished goods. In 2009 the ZICZAC brand was born with a more modern style and edger design with the motto “Play your Color”. This appealed to the Independents and medium to high end large Retailers. Our success in Europe has been tremendous with repeat orders from Retailers like; Kaufhor, Rinacente, El Corteangles, Bailetti, Inno and Zodio. In 2013 ZICZAC was showcased at the Chicago Home and Housewares Show. With the success of the 2015 show, stock was brought into the New Jersey and our New York City office opened.
