We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce Kikuichi Cutlery, the oldest knife company in the world. We hope to instill in you the excitement that some of your colleagues feel for carrying our products in their stores. To begin, Kikuichi Cutlery has a very unique and distinguished history and background. for over 750 years we have manufactured the finest blades. Based in the Kansai region of Japan, our company was born with the country of Japan. All our products are still made in Japan but multigenerational artisans and craftsmen. The chrysanthemum symbol on our knives serve as a mark of our excellence, as this logo is reserved for products deemed of highest quality by the emperor. Today, our ancestors swords are exhibited in several museums as registered national treasures of Japan. We have both traditional hand forged Japanese knives from the best living craftsmen, as well as modern Western style blades that have a place in every kitchen.
